While the properties of an SVG that can be animated through CSS might seem minimal, you can still achieve some pretty awesome effects.

In this talk, I aim to:

  • Break down my process for creating this animated holiday card, including Grunt workflow. 
  • Explain special considerations when working with SVG, and basic troubleshooting (such as bounding boxes, optimization, and responsive scaling).
  • Review the animatable properties of an SVG and creative ways of making the most out of its limitations.
